Chapter 10.

Gina was finally starting to adjust to the baby it’s been almost 3 weeks now, and strangely the baby had brung her and Dan closer than ever. Katie had sent tons of baby toys, and clothes for Ariel, and was even demanding pictures everyday as if Gina had gave birth to this little angel herself. By now all the girls were informed of the new joy that had come into her and Dan’s life and they were all very supportive. Mary even flew down last weekend to meet the little Princess, and spoil her to no end. Gina and Mary were able to talk briefly about Lilly’s big performance coming up the following weekend in Orlando. While her nor could Mary make it. Katie, Becca and Becca’s parents were all going to be there to support her. The girls had all kept their promises to see each other more and that ultimately started with Mary who went to see Sally the week after we all got back from our Trip.

Sally was still going through it with Jim mainly because the day she got back he was sitting in front of her apartment building demanding that she let him in. She had to the call the police to get a report of this incident. This would help her case against him that they were beginning to build. But, it didn’t stop there he called and called her at her new job, and harassed her whenever he saw her at Jackson Memorial. Sally was really going through it and she was feeling weak, and helpless. So Mary went down to take some precautions and get an order of protection and help. Sally was determined to get the respect that she deserved. Jim was a tough cookie he didn’t care about the law, and he actually didn’t even care if his wife found out. Apparently he was madly in love with Sally. But, after the abortion, and the physical abuse Sally wasn’t taking any chances of becoming a true victim of his fatal attraction. Mary continued to file papers and finally was able to sit with the board of the hospital that same week to bring awareness to the situation and have any other nurses speak out against him. The board had taken into consideration of the documents and Sally’s testimony to look into Jim’s behavior. It wasn’t going to be easy because they are looking at him for Chief of Staff. So in reality they were up against a lot. After Mary left, Sally was able to go about freely, and she felt a lot better about the situation at hand.

Katie was able to get Dan to fly down with her to Orlando to see Lilly perform, and it would also be a great time tell some of the girls about their upcoming wedding. There were so many things going on with the girls Katie didn’t feel comfortable, but since this was already a joyous occasion she figured why not. They
